Tehran (Monitoring Desk) Former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and advisor to the Supreme Leader Mohsen Rezaei has strongly criticized the United States and taken a firm stance on nuclear negotiations and the issue of the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, Mohsen Rezaei stated in his remarks that Iran will not hold any negotiations with the United States regarding its nuclear program.
He said that the Strait of Hormuz should remain under Iran’s control, warning that if control over it is lost, it could be used again as a weapon against Iran.
Mohsen Rezaei emphasized that regional security should be managed by regional countries themselves rather than foreign forces, and called for the United States and European countries to withdraw from the region.
He further said that if negotiations take place at any stage, Iran will demand full compensation from the United States for damages incurred during the war, and will not accept any agreement without reparations.
