Tehran (Commerce Desk): Fuel and food prices have increased in the United States due to the Iran war and higher tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. According to US media reports, diesel prices in the country have reached their highest level since the Iran war began.
According to the US Department of Energy, the weekly average diesel price rose by 20 cents per gallon to $5.65 per gallon.
The American Automobile Association said that with another 20-cent increase, diesel prices would reach their highest level since 2022.
According to a US newspaper, government policies have made fertilizer, fuel and agricultural machinery more expensive, creating difficulties for farmers.
