Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrives in Islamabad, meetings with top leadership underway

Islamabad (Pakistan Desk) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, leading a delegation, has arrived in Islamabad.

According to the Foreign Office, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Asim Munir received the Iranian delegation, while other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

During the visit, the Iranian Foreign Minister will hold meetings with Pakistan’s top political and military leadership, focusing on the latest regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace and stability.

Earlier, Abbas Araghchi said he was on visits to Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and consulting on regional developments.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also discussed the regional situation, ceasefire matters, and diplomatic initiatives with Pakistan’s leadership.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said on the occasion that continuous dialogue is essential for resolving issues and that timely progress for peace and stability in the region is necessary.
