Lodhran (Pakistan Desk) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced the postponement of the proposed anti-inflation movement in view of the global situation.
Talking to the media in Lodhran, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the current international circumstances have created an atmosphere of uncertainty and unrest, making it inappropriate to launch an immediate political movement.
He said that there must be complete supremacy of the Constitution and law in the country, and the democratic system should be run in its true spirit.
The JUI chief made it clear that his party never leaves the public alone and remains committed to the principled stance of provincial autonomy.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman further said that elections should be held in the country that truly reflect the public will.
