Islamabad (Pakistan News): Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, during which both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace and stability in the region.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders discussed regional peace, stability, and matters related to bilateral cooperation.
Ishaq Dar said Pakistan would continue to play a constructive role in promoting long-term peace and stability at both regional and global levels.
During the conversation, Abbas Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s continued support in advancing the peace process and expressed gratitude for its assistance in the safe return of Iranian personnel and fishermen.
Both sides agreed to maintain close contact and continue coordination on matters of mutual interest.
