Islamabad: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong, during which detailed discussions were held on the Islamabad talks and subsequent developments.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, both sides exchanged views on recent diplomatic efforts and the regional situation.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continuing support for dialogue and diplomacy, emphasizing that negotiations remain the most effective way to resolve issues.
The spokesperson added that the Chinese ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s role in hosting the Islamabad talks, terming it a positive development.
Both sides also reaffirmed their resolve to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance their strategic cooperative partnership.
