London (Monitoring Desk) – Islamabad is once again set to become the center of diplomatic activity, as a new round of negotiations between the United States and Iran is expected.
According to Reuters, sources indicate that delegations from both countries may arrive in Islamabad later this week to resume peace talks.
An official from the Iranian embassy in Pakistan has also confirmed that the next round of negotiations is likely to take place either this week or early next week.
Earlier reports suggested that Pakistan had offered to host the second phase of talks between the two nations, a move widely seen as a positive diplomatic development.
