Gaza (Monitoring Desk): Israel has announced the reopening of key border crossings to facilitate humanitarian aid and limited movement in Gaza.
According to Israeli authorities, the Kerem Shalom crossing will be reopened for the delivery of humanitarian assistance into Gaza, while the Rafah crossing is being partially restored for restricted movement.
Officials said both crossings were closed in March this year and are now being partially reopened to allow the entry of essential aid supplies and limited transit.
The move is aimed at easing humanitarian access amid ongoing conditions in the region.
