Gaza (Monitoring Desk) — A Palestinian civilian has been martyred as a result of Israeli military firing in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 31-year-old Amjad Jawad from the city of Hebron lost his life after being shot south of Bethlehem.
Following the incident, Israeli forces cordoned off the area and restricted the movement of Palestinian civilians, while the exact circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear.
Local sources said that in recent days there has been an increase in Israeli military operations, raids, and arrests in the West Bank.
Just hours earlier, in a separate incident, 26-year-old Imad Haroon was also killed near occupied Jerusalem.
