Kangana Defends Her ‘Gutter Generation’ Remark

Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) — Bollywood actress and Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has once again clarified her remarks in which she referred to India’s Gen Z generation as the “gutter generation.”

A few days ago, a student organization called Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) staged a protest in New Delhi over the paper leak issue, following which Kangana Ranaut described Gen Z as the “gutter generation.”

Her remarks drew strong criticism from social media users and prominent figures from the showbiz industry. Following the criticism, Kangana praised Gen Z, saying that she was happy that the younger generation is aware and understands issues.

However, Kangana Ranaut has now sparked a fresh controversy by once again linking Gen Z with the term “gutter generation.”

Speaking to the media, the actress said that if people call themselves “cockroaches” and “we say that cockroaches come out of gutters,” then what is wrong with that?

Kangana further said that she does not consider herself a cockroach. According to her, if someone tells her that she lives in a gutter, she would deny it, but if someone describes themselves as a cockroach, then naturally they would live in a gutter.
