Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) — Renowned Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has highlighted the importance of accepting oneself at different stages of life and not allowing other people’s opinions to dominate one’s sense of self.
Her statement comes at a time when comments about her weight and physical appearance were made on social media following her recent appearance at a public event.
Speaking at an event for her beauty brand in London, the 43-year-old actress did not directly mention the online criticism. However, her remarks focused on self-confidence and self-acceptance.
Responding to a question, Katrina said that people sometimes praise you in life, but there are also times when you have to become your own biggest source of encouragement.
She linked this philosophy to her brand’s slogan, “It’s Okay to Be Yourself.” According to her, people should accept themselves as they are and remain true to their authentic personalities.
Katrina said that life does not always remain the same. During some phases, people feel they are doing everything perfectly, while at other times, they may feel that they cannot do anything right. Similarly, there are moments when people feel they are at their best, while at other times, they are still on the journey toward reaching that point.
The actress stressed that people should accept every stage of life without putting themselves under unnecessary pressure and should not allow others’ comments to affect them excessively. In her view, it is more important to understand circumstances and treat oneself with kindness rather than take oneself too seriously.
It is worth mentioning that last month, Katrina Kaif attended an event held at the Ambani family’s residence. Following the event, comments about her weight and physical appearance began circulating on social media.
During this discussion, critics also overlooked the fact that the actress had given birth to her son, Vihaan, in November 2025, and a full year had not yet passed since she gave birth.
