Major Operation in Quetta, Iranian Currency Seized

Quetta (Pakistan News): Pakistan Customs Enforcement carried out a significant operation, seizing a large amount of Iranian currency from a passenger.

According to customs officials, the passenger was attempting to transfer 29.79 million Iranian rials abroad without any declaration, but the attempt was foiled based on intelligence information.

Authorities stated that timely action prevented the illegal transfer, and the seized amount is estimated to be worth millions of rupees.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the case may be linked to an organized network involved in illegal trade and currency smuggling.

The Collector of Customs expressed satisfaction over the operation and stated that actions against smuggling will be further intensified, with strict measures to continue against those involved.
