Karachi (Showbiz Desk): Renowned Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has advised artists to keep their private lives away from social media and avoid sharing every aspect of their daily routines with fans.
Recently, Mehwish Hayat appeared as a guest on a private television channel’s programme, where she shared her views on her professional journey and the use of social media.
Many artists today remain active on social media and share various aspects of their personal lives with fans. However, Mehwish Hayat has consistently preferred to keep much of her private life away from these platforms.
Offering advice to young artists, the actress said she had never been particularly interested in posting excessively on social media and preferred to keep her personal life private. She added that other artists could learn from this approach.
Mehwish Hayat said an artist should maintain a sense of dignity and an element of mystery in their personality. For this reason, artists should avoid sharing excessive details of their lives on Instagram and other social media platforms.
She further said that some aspects of life should remain personal and that there was no need to post everything that happens in everyday life on social media.
