Lahore (Showbiz Desk) In response to a viral video of religious scholar Tariq Jamil, actress Mishi Khan has strongly reacted and expressed deep disappointment.
Mishi Khan said that after watching the video in which Maulana Tariq Jamil did not shake hands with a child, she felt very saddened. According to her, the child may have been waiting for a long time and likely wished to shake hands with him, but the refusal could have a negative impact on the child’s mindset.
The actress further said that people try to follow Maulana Tariq Jamil’s teachings, so if he himself acts contrary to his own messages, it sets a wrong example.
She also recalled that in a recent video, Maulana Tariq Jamil was seen interacting warmly with transgender individuals and dancer Mehak Malik, so she added that similarly, if he had also greeted the child, it would not have been an issue.
