New York (Web Desk): Amid the emerging trend of wider screens in foldable smartphones, Motorola is also working on developing a book-style foldable phone. Samsung and Huawei, among other companies, have previously introduced phones of this type, while reports have also emerged regarding a wide-screen aspect ratio for Apple’s potential foldable iPhone.
According to reports, alleged design sketches of Motorola’s new foldable phone have surfaced, showing the device with a relatively wider display when unfolded. These apparently hand-drawn sketches provide an initial idea of the phone’s overall design.
The alleged images show a horizontal camera bar on the back of the phone, which may feature two camera lenses along with a flash or additional sensor. The camera module’s design resembles Google Pixel phones, while one purpose of the bar may also be to prevent the phone from wobbling unnecessarily when placed on a table.
A punch-hole selfie camera is also visible on the inner screen. However, no final details have yet emerged regarding the phone’s exact size, display dimensions, hardware, price or launch date.
