Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) Bollywood actress Mouni Roy has responded for the first time to circulating rumors about her divorce from her husband Suraj Nambiar.
Following reports of possible tensions between the two on social media, Mouni Roy, through her Instagram story, appealed to the media not to spread false news and to respect her private life. She wrote, “I humbly request all media houses not to publish false narratives and to give us privacy.”
Although her statement provided some clarity, she neither clearly confirmed nor denied the divorce rumors.
The speculation intensified when Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar unfollowed each other on Instagram, which sparked discussions among fans. Later, Suraj Nambiar also deactivated his Instagram account.
Furthermore, reports that the actress’s close friend Disha Patani also unfollowed Suraj added more fuel to the social media buzz.
It is worth noting that Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar got married in January 2022.
