Karachi (Showbiz Desk) Former Pakistani actress and wife of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Namal Khawar, has criticized social media pages for speculating about her weight and body shape.
Recently, Namal Khawar shared pictures from an event on her social media account. After the pictures went viral, various pages reposted them and speculated that she might be pregnant.
Responding strongly to these comments in a post on the social media platform, the former actress said it was surprising that people showed no hesitation when commenting on women’s bodies. She said her weight may change and that it was not necessary for her to look the same as she did five years ago.
Namal Khawar said that women’s bodies undergo various changes after becoming mothers. Age, hormones, mental stress, health, lifestyle, and pregnancy are among the different factors that can cause physical changes.
She clarified that none of these reasons gives people the right to publicly criticize a woman’s body or weight.
