Canada (Sports Desk): Pakistan's last hope in the World Junior Squash Championship ended as Nauman Khan was eliminated from the event after losing to Egypt's Mohamed Zakaria in the pre-quarterfinal stage.
In the championship being held in Canada, Nauman Khan was the only Pakistani player who managed to reach the pre-quarterfinals. However, the event's top-seeded Egyptian player Mohamed Zakaria defeated him in straight games.
Mohamed Zakaria delivered an outstanding performance and won the match with scores of 11-6, 11-5, and 11-4.
It is worth mentioning that the team event of the World Junior Squash Championship will begin on 26 July, where the Pakistani team will also be in action.
