New Coaching Panels Announced for National Hockey Teams

Lahore (Sports Desk) – The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced new coaching and management panels for the national senior, junior, and under-18 teams.

According to details, these appointments have been made with the approval of the federation’s president and on the recommendations of the Professional Development Committee.

For the senior national team, Olympian Manzoor-ul-Hasan has been appointed as head coach. The coaching panel includes Khawaja Muhammad Junaid, Wasim Ahmad, Adnan Zakir, Mazhar Abbas, and Shakeel Abbasi.

The Pakistan junior team will be led by Olympian Ayaz Mahmood as head coach, with Sameer Hussain, Azfar Yaqoob, and Imran Butt part of the coaching staff.

Similarly, Olympian Qamar Ibrahim has been appointed head coach of the under-18 team, assisted by Rehan Butt, Yasir Islam, and Umar Bhutta.

The federation stated that these appointments aim to strengthen national hockey and ensure better training and development of future players.
