Istanbul (Monitoring Desk): Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has warned against any new attack on Iran, saying such an action would further escalate tensions in the region and could prolong the ongoing conflict.
According to Reuters, Fidan said diplomacy and negotiations were the only way to end the war, while further military action against Iran would not resolve any problems.
Addressing a press conference in Istanbul, the Turkish foreign minister said all countries participating in the meeting agreed that a new attack on Iran would lead to a further escalation of regional tensions.
He said none of the countries attending the meeting supported another military attack on Iran or intervention against the country.
