Islamabad (Pakistan News) — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has made it clear that Pakistan remains firm on its principled position on the Palestine issue and that there is no truth in the rumors circulating regarding the Abraham Accords.
Speaking to journalists, he said that Pakistan’s stance is unwavering, and until a Palestinian state is recognized according to the pre-1967 borders with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, there can be no question of any flexibility in any agreement.
Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan is a supporter of peace in the region and is playing a positive role in negotiations between Iran and the United States at the global level, which has helped improve diplomatic relations.
He further stated that due to the policies of the current leadership, Pakistan has gained a new identity at the global level, and attempts by India to isolate Pakistan have failed.
According to the Foreign Minister, his meeting with the US Secretary of State took place in a pleasant environment, where various bilateral matters were discussed.
Talking about Palestine and Kashmir, he said that Pakistan fully supports the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people in accordance with United Nations resolutions and remains steadfast in its position.
It is worth noting that in a recent statement, US President Donald Trump invited some countries, including Muslim countries, to join the Abraham Accords, after which the issue has become a topic of global discussion.
