Oil Prices Rise in Global Market After US President Trump’s Position

Washington (Commerce Desk) Following the rejection of Iran’s proposals by US President Donald Trump, global oil prices have recorded a significant increase in the international market.

Brent crude oil prices rose by 4 percent, reaching $105 per barrel. Similarly, US crude oil also increased by 4 percent, reaching the $100 per barrel mark.

The price of Murban crude oil also increased by 2 percent, trading at $99 per barrel. Natural gas prices also recorded an increase of up to 2 percent.

It is worth noting that President Trump had rejected Iran’s proposed ceasefire suggestions, calling them unacceptable. In a statement on his social media platform “Truth Social”, he said that he did not like the response from Iranian representatives and declared it completely unacceptable.
