Islamabad (Commerce Desk) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan is rapidly emerging as an attractive destination for digital investment.
Addressing the launch ceremony of the Pakistan Digital Economic Center, he said that Pakistan and China are jointly working on various initiatives in sectors including connectivity and infrastructure.
According to Ishaq Dar, the leadership of Pakistan and China is jointly advancing development goals, while CPEC is a game-changing project in Pakistan’s energy and connectivity sectors.
He said that China is now effectively creating a digital corridor, which will generate new opportunities for cooperation and employment between the two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister further stated that cooperation with China is also ongoing in key sectors such as education, health, and climate change, while the younger generation is being aligned with modern requirements.
According to him, Pakistan’s digital economy is growing rapidly and will continue to produce positive outcomes in the future.
