Sanya (Pakistan News) – A ceremony was held in Sanya where Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements were signed between various institutions of Pakistan and China in multiple sectors.
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari attended the event, along with Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Chief Secretary Sindh Ali Hassan Bhutto, and Pakistan’s Ambassador Khalil Hashmi.
Agreements were signed between the two countries in the fields of construction machinery, animal health, and medical technology. Under these agreements, cooperation will be promoted in the supply of construction equipment and machinery related to CPEC projects, while investment opportunities for setting up factories in Pakistan will also be reviewed.
At the beginning of the ceremony, a documentary highlighting the 75-year friendship between Pakistan and China was also shown.
On this occasion, MoUs were also signed between various organizations including Al Hassan Trade Establishment, Sani International Development, and Henan Jialong International Technology. Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and other representatives signed the agreements.
A joint project was also agreed upon regarding the supply of vaccines for livestock, foot-and-mouth disease vaccines, and the implementation of a track and trace system. The agreement was signed by Sharjeel Inam Memon and a representative of the Chinese company.
Furthermore, an agreement was reached between Dr. Ziauddin Hospital and Shenzhen V-Bion Technology aimed at promoting the use of advanced intelligent robots in clinical medicine.
