In his statement regarding the situation that emerged after the national cricket team’s defeat in two Test matches against England, Mohammad Yousuf said that the issue of recalling players and coaching staff is not limited to performance alone.
He said, “We are not sending legends like Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Inzamam-ul-Haq or Saeed Anwar as replacements. All this reflects disagreements, internal turmoil and conflicts in Pakistan cricket.”
