Islamabad (Sports Desk): Pakistan secured its second victory in the Central Asian Volleyball Championship by defeating Bangladesh in straight sets.
In the second match of the event being held in Islamabad, the host national team delivered an impressive performance and did not allow the Bangladeshi side to dominate at any stage of the contest.
Pakistan won all three consecutive sets, with the national team's victory score being 25-22, 25-17, and 25-16. With this win, Pakistan achieved its second victory of the tournament.
In other matches played on the second day of the championship, Sri Lanka defeated Nepal, while Uzbekistan defeated Kazakhstan. Both matches were decided after tough five-set contests.
The Central Asian Volleyball Championship is being held at the Liaquat Gymnasium of the Pakistan Sports Board in Islamabad and will continue until 29 July.
