Islamabad (Pakistan News): The Protocol Agreement 2026 between Pakistan and Kuwait reflects the two countries’ longstanding brotherly ties and their resolve to further strengthen defense cooperation.
The agreement was developed on the basis of the 2023 Defense Cooperation Agreement, which was ratified by Kuwait in 2026. Its objective is to transform defense relations into institutional and practical cooperation.
Under the protocol, a formal framework has been established to expand cooperation between the two countries in military relations, defense cooperation, military training and deployment.
According to the agreement, the protocol is not linked to any other bilateral or multilateral agreement and remains limited to the scope of mutual defense relations between Pakistan and Kuwait. It is being viewed as a significant step toward further strengthening the longstanding defense partnership between the two countries.
