Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar) — President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the victims of terrorism, saying Pakistan has made immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
On the International Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism, the president said the wounds of terrorism have become part of the national memory, while sacrifices continue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
He said terrorism must be condemned without discrimination and no territory should be allowed to be used for actions against any country. Young people must be protected from extremism, and terrorists have failed to defeat the national resolve.
President Zardari said a peaceful and strong Pakistan is the nation’s commitment and prayed that Allah Almighty grant the country lasting peace and prosperity.
