Islamabad (Pakistan Desk) Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for a possible and sustainable ceasefire between the United States and Iran are continuing, with a series of high-level meetings taking place.
According to Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran. The meeting focused on the overall regional situation and prospects for reducing tensions.
During the meeting, the interior minister conveyed a special letter from Field Marshal Asim Munir addressed to Iran’s leadership, along with a message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi also met his Iranian counterpart Eskandar Momeni, where matters of mutual interest and regional peace and stability were discussed.
Pakistan’s diplomatic initiative is aimed at reducing escalating tensions in the region and promoting dialogue between the concerned parties.
