Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): Veteran Indian actor Paresh Rawal has revealed for the first time the reasons behind his decision to not act in the film ‘OMG 2’.
In a recent interview, Paresh Rawal said that he had developed a separate story concept on the subject of sex education with the film’s director and writer Amit Rai.
According to the actor, the basic storyline of the film was based on his idea and revolved around a young man whose inappropriate video goes viral on social media, after which he faces difficulties in life, while his father struggles to get justice for him.
Paresh Rawal explained that the story required a character to guide the father, but there was no need to present that character as God. He said that in the first film ‘OMG’, the character of God was included because the case was against God, but there was no such element in the new story.
He further said that renowned sexologist Dr. Prakash Kothari was also involved in the project to make the film informative, engaging, and meaningful, and several meetings were held for this purpose.
According to Paresh Rawal, the aim of the film was to present a sensitive topic in an educational and positive manner; however, due to certain reasons, he could not become part of the project.
