PCB Installs Advanced TruMan 3 Bowling Machine

Lahore (Sports Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a major step towards modernizing player training by installing the advanced “TruMan 3” bowling machine at the National Cricket Academy.

According to the PCB, the primary aim of this advanced system is to provide batters with more effective practice in match-like conditions so they can improve their technical skills.

A key feature of the machine is its high-contrast LED animation screen, which displays the bowler’s action in front view, helping batters understand release points, timing, and bowling style more effectively.

In addition, the system allows adjustments in speed, line, length, swing, and bounce according to training requirements. Coaches can also save different deliveries, overs, and spells and replay them later in match-like scenarios.

Director High Performance Aaqib Javed said that the PCB has become the first cricket board in the world to use this advanced machine. He added that the technology provides a more realistic experience compared to traditional bowling machines, as it combines video simulation with bowling action.

National team captain Salman Ali Agha also appreciated the initiative, saying that this modern technology will significantly help improve players’ timing and batting standards.
