Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar) — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed ministries to accelerate measures to provide relevant data on the national digital platform.
A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was held to review the implementation of the Digital Nation Pakistan Program in federal ministries. Shehbaz Sharif said the central data center would play an important role in providing government services and facilitating citizens, while the program aims to deliver effective and convenient services to the public.
He said making data from all sectors and government institutions available in one place would help promote economic development. Joint efforts by institutions also played an important role in the successful completion of the fuel subsidy scheme.
According to the prime minister, digitization of ministries would help prevent corruption and institutional disorder.
Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the Ministry of Health’s efforts to establish standardized medical records at the national level and also praised the implementation of QR codes to ensure the provision of quality medicines.
