President Asif Zardari Criticizes Afghan Government, Calls Targeting of Pakistani Citizens a Red Line

Islamabad (Pakistan News): President Asif Ali Zardari criticized the Afghan government, stating that by targeting Pakistani citizens, it has crossed a red line.

President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned drone attacks carried out by the Afghan Taliban and said that the illegal government in Afghanistan continues to shirk its responsibilities through terror. He added that the Afghan government is ignoring its promises to not provide safe havens to terrorist groups and is now attempting to challenge one of the largest military powers in the Islamic world.

The president noted that while the Afghan government is attempting negotiations with friendly countries, it has crossed a red line by targeting Pakistani citizens. He emphasized that Pakistan is actively working to promote peace and stability in the region.

Asif Ali Zardari also prayed for the speedy recovery of children and other civilians injured in drone attacks in Quetta, Kohat, and Rawalpindi. He underscored that Pakistan’s armed forces and security agencies are fully prepared to defend the country and protect its citizens.
