Lahore (Sports Desk) – Lahore Qalandars player Fakhar Zaman may face a ban for violating the code of conduct during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.
According to sources, the incident occurred during the match against Karachi Kings, where Fakhar Zaman was accused of tampering with the ball just before the start of the 20th over. The umpire, noticing suspicious activity, replaced the ball and awarded five penalty runs to Karachi Kings.
Fakhar Zaman will face a Level Three charge. He denied the allegations during the initial hearing, but match referee Roshan Mahnama will deliver his decision after a follow-up hearing today. Sources indicate that Zaman could potentially face a suspension of three or more matches.
