Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar): PTI has filed a contempt of court petition, alleging that the Supreme Court’s August 18 order regarding the transfer of party founder Imran Khan to a hospital was not implemented.
The petition requests that those responsible be issued show-cause notices, summoned in person, and declared guilty of contempt of court and punished according to law.
PTI has also requested that Imran Khan be immediately transferred to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad for a medical examination and that a judicial officer or local commission be appointed to ensure implementation of the court order.
The petition was filed by Uzair Bhandari and Salman Akram Raja, while the court has already adjourned the hearing of the matter until September 16.
