Lahore (Pakistan Desk): The provincial government in Punjab has introduced a new digital facility allowing citizens to report lost documents from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit police stations or service centers.
Under this initiative, citizens can now register reports for lost items such as CNICs, passports, driving licenses, and other essential documents through a newly launched app. Once the report is filed, the FIR can also be delivered to المواطنين at home.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz officially inaugurated the Punjab Police app. On the occasion, she stated that leveraging modern technology to facilitate the public is a key priority of the government.
She added that putting Punjab on the path of innovation remains a top agenda, and this app will help save both time and resources for citizens.
