Lahore (Pakistan News): A resolution has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly to welcome the ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
The resolution was presented by Hina Parvez Butt of Pakistan مسلم لیگ ن, in which the house termed the ceasefire a positive development.
According to the text, tribute was paid to Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and the military leadership for their role in promoting peace in the Middle East.
The resolution stated that Pakistan’s peaceful diplomatic efforts are being recognized globally and described the development as a major success for the government.
It further highlighted that a country once perceived as being isolated internationally is now playing an effective role in key global decisions.
The assembly expressed full support for the federal government’s initiatives aimed at establishing peace and formally endorsed these efforts.
