Lahore (Pakistan Khabar): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has urged the government to review the petroleum levy and reduce unnecessary government spending to provide relief to the public.
Speaking to the media, he said the federal government should take measures to facilitate the public by reducing the development budget. He said discussions on various issues were continuing with the federal government and that the province should present its problems before the federation in a logical and effective manner.
Regarding the PIMS accident, Faisal Karim Kundi said suspending only one secretary would not resolve the issue. According to him, committees are formed after such incidents, but merely establishing committees does not eliminate problems.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor said such problems would continue in the country until an effective system of reward and punishment was established.
