Kyiv (Monitoring Desk): Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv have killed 24 more people, while more than 100 others were injured.
According to Ukrainian officials, Russia targeted residential areas in Kyiv for the second consecutive week on Monday. The attack was carried out a day before an important NATO meeting.
During the morning attack, a multi-story residential building in Kyiv’s Podilskyi district was severely damaged, with several floors of the building destroyed and split into two sections.
According to a news agency report, more than 10 explosions were heard during the ballistic missile attack, while flashes of light were also seen in the sky.
Officials said that 16 people were killed in the Russian attacks in the capital Kyiv, while another eight people lost their lives in the suburban area of Vyshneve. More than 100 people were injured as a result of the attacks.
