MUMBAI (Showbiz Desk): Bollywood actor Salman Khan has supported the ongoing student protests against exam paper leaks, saying he feels saddened that a peaceful movement turned into violence.
In his statement on the social media platform X, Salman Khan said that his sympathies are with the students and their families who were injured during the protests.
He said that paper leaks are a very serious issue; however, it was encouraging to see students across the country unite for a better education system, with their parents also extending full support.
The Bollywood actor praised the determination of students, saying that these young people are working hard to improve their future and contribute to building an educated India.
Salman Khan said that the students’ protest was peaceful and that they demonstrated courage and responsibility. He added that this young generation will bring pride to the country in the future.
