Lahore (Pakistan News): A spell of dry and intense heat has begun across Lahore and other parts of Punjab, with the sun already showing strong intensity since morning.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the current temperature in Lahore is around 32°C, while the minimum temperature recorded is 26°C. The maximum temperature is expected to reach up to 41°C.
Experts say that heat intensity will increase not only during the day but also at night, with minimum temperatures rising from 26°C to 28°C, making humidity and discomfort more severe.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned that over the next one to two days, the heat is expected to intensify further, with temperatures possibly reaching 42°C.
Citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight, drink plenty of water, and take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the heatwave.
