Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) — Indian television actress Shilpa Shinde has made a significant revelation after several years, admitting that the sexual harassment case filed against producer Sanjay Kohli during the show “Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain” was not based on true events.
Speaking on a podcast, Shilpa Shinde said that at the time there were serious disputes with the production team over payments and contractual issues, and she believed legal action was necessary to protect her rights.
The actress stated for the first time that the harassment allegations were not accurate. However, she added that the matter between both parties was later settled out of court, and her pending payments were cleared.
She further said that circumstances have changed over time and her relations with Sanjay Kohli are now normal, and she has also resumed working with him.
It is worth noting that her exit from the show in 2016 and the subsequent harassment case created significant controversy in the Indian television industry and remained in media focus for a long period.
