Karachi (Pakistan News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is fully committed to eliminating external terrorism from its soil at all costs.
Addressing the passing-out parade of the Pakistan Navy, the Prime Minister congratulated the graduating cadets and welcomed the participation of cadets from friendly countries.
He praised the role of the Pakistan Navy in national defence, stating that the force has consistently demonstrated excellent performance in every difficult situation. He added that the Navy’s role in the “Battle of Truth” has become part of history.
Shehbaz Sharif said that recent regional developments and the understanding between Iran and the United States are significant for the region, and Pakistan’s diplomatic role in this context has also been appreciated.
He noted that ongoing changes in the region will have far-reaching impacts, while certain elements are operating against Pakistan through proxy networks.
The Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan, along with its armed forces, remains fully committed to eradicating externally sponsored terrorism from its roots.
