Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) — Renowned Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has revealed that her daughters sometimes develop insecurities about their physical appearance.
In a recent vlog, Farah Khan spoke with Akanksha Choudhary about physical beauty, self-confidence, and the growing pressure of social media among young people. She said that her daughters have grown up in an environment filled with love and encouragement, but despite this, they sometimes do not appear satisfied with their looks.
The filmmaker said that her daughters sometimes feel that they are not beautiful, showing that insecurity about physical appearance can affect young people.
Speaking about unrealistic beauty standards on social media, Farah Khan said that young people constantly see edited pictures, beauty filters, and seemingly ideal social media posts, which can affect their perception of their own appearance and self-confidence.
She further said that the children of celebrities also face public attention, comparisons with others, and expectations, which can further increase pressure related to physical appearance.
It may be noted that Farah Khan and her husband, Shirish Kunder, are parents to three children, Anya, Diva, and Czar. Farah Khan has shared pictures of her children from their childhood with fans in the past, but after they grew older, she has largely kept their private lives away from media attention.
