Lahore (Sports Desk) Hyderabad Kings fast bowler Hunain Shah said that the presence of spectators during matches boosts players’ confidence, and he also received strong support from the crowd.
Speaking at a press conference after a brilliant victory against Islamabad United at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Hunain Shah said that he was confident he could deliver a better performance for the team by executing his plan. According to him, this victory is not his own but a blessing from Allah.
He said that over the past six to seven months he has worked very hard and went through a difficult time after returning from injury; however, continuous effort brought him to this stage. During this period, Naseem Shah played an important role in guiding him, for which he is grateful.
Hunain Shah said that in the final over, there was a challenge of defending only six runs, and he focused on bowling six yorkers according to the plan.
He added that the coaches instructed him to keep a calm mindset while bowling, and he followed the same principle. He further said that every player in the team is a match-winner and he will try to maintain the same performance in upcoming matches.
