Lahore (Sports Desk) Palestine Football Association President Jibril Rajoub refused to shake hands with the Israeli Football Association’s vice president and also declined to stand alongside him during the FIFA Congress.
According to foreign media reports, during the meeting held in Canada, Palestinian and Israeli representatives were placed in close proximity; however, the head of the Palestinian Football Association avoided any handshake or joint appearance with the Israeli representative.
Reports further state that Jibril Rajoub also expressed strong displeasure over the presence of the Israeli Football Association vice president during the session and voiced his objection during the proceedings.
