Stock Market Surges as KSE-100 Index Gains Over 2,000 Points

Karachi (Commerce Desk): A strong bullish trend was witnessed in Asian stock markets, including Pakistan, amid improving conditions in the Middle East.

At the start of the last trading day of the week, the KSE-100 Index recorded a significant surge of over 2,000 points, reaching the level of 167,844 points.

In contrast, the index had closed at 165,517 points in the previous session after a decline of 293 points.

Meanwhile, easing tensions in the Middle East also had a positive impact on other Asian markets. Nikkei 225 recorded a 2% increase, while Thailand’s SET Index gained around 1%. Similarly, stock markets in China and Hong Kong also saw gains of approximately 1%, reinforcing a positive economic outlook across the region.
