Tehran (Monitoring Desk) – Amid rising tensions between Iran and the United States, Iranian leadership has accused the U.S. of planning a ground attack, while Israeli airstrikes have intensified.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that although the U.S. talks about negotiations publicly, it is secretly preparing for ground operations. He warned that any attempt by U.S. forces to enter Iran would be met with a strong response.
Meanwhile, power supply in Tehran and surrounding areas has been disrupted, reportedly due to attacks on energy facilities. Authorities say efforts are underway to gradually restore electricity.
Reports indicate that the U.S. and Israel have carried out dozens of strikes across Iran, targeting weapons manufacturing and research facilities. According to Iran’s Ministry of Health, thousands have died since the onset of the conflict, including a significant number of children.
In the central city of Isfahan, a university was struck again, injuring multiple staff members. Iranian media report that hundreds of educational institutions have been affected, with numerous students and teachers killed or injured, raising international concern.
