New York (Web Desk): Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has introduced a new balance bike designed for children aged two to five years, priced at US$225, making it significantly more expensive than most standard balance bikes.
The new balance bike does not include pedals, a motor, or brakes. Instead, children propel it using their feet. It features a lightweight magnesium frame with a modern design, while the seat can be adjusted to five different height settings, allowing children of various ages to use it comfortably.
Interestingly, despite its relatively high price, the balance bike sold out shortly after it became available for purchase. Likewise, a Tesla T-shirt priced at approximately US$30 also sold out within a short period.
The company has announced that pre-orders for the next batch of balance bikes will begin on 31 July. Due to limited availability, customers have been advised to place their orders as early as possible.
It is worth noting that most balance bikes available in the market are priced at around US$100, whereas Tesla's new model is considerably more expensive.
Earlier, Tesla had also introduced the Cyberquad ATV for children. However, its sales were temporarily suspended due to concerns regarding safety standards.
