Lahore (Pakistan Khabar): The threat of a possible suspension of the Metro Bus service has been averted after operator company VEDA and the Punjab Masstransit Authority agreed to continue the service.
According to Masstransit Authority General Manager Operations Uzair Shah, VEDA’s financial and other demands are being seriously considered, while negotiations are continuing to resolve the issues.
Uzair Shah said the Lahore Metro Bus service would continue operating and discussions on VEDA’s demands were ongoing. He said the company and the Masstransit Authority would hold another round of negotiations today, with progress expected towards resolving the demands.
